MY ART IS ROOTED IN THE BELIEF THAT LIFE IS MEANT TO BE DEEPLY FELT. I CREATE TO IGNITE—TO STIR SOMETHING REAL INSIDE YOU. THE THINGS THAT FUEL MY WORK AREN’T JUST ABSTRACT EMOTIONS; THEY COME FROM THE LIFE I LIVE AND THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE MY BREATH AWAY.
I draw inspiration from the full, unfiltered experience of being alive—from the raw emotions that move us, to the beauty that surrounds us, often when we least expect it.
I'm inspired by....
... sailing across turquoise oceans with the wind filling the sails… by sunrises that feel like a sacred gift… by dinners with good friends where conversation lingers late into the night. I find fuel in traveling to places rich with history and wonder, in being with fascinating and interesting people, in witnessing beauty in both grand and quiet ways.
Anything creative excites me, I have a curious soul, and I’m very moved by nature—by wild landscapes, the ocean's vast energy, the calm of a forest, and the pure joy of dogs running free. I am constantly fascinated by faces, and the stories they each tell of lives lived. I find energy in endurance sports, in the discipline it takes to go farther than you thought you could. I’m endlessly inspired by beautiful machines—automobiles and boats of every kind—and the visceral thrill of speed.
What excites me...
Spending time with my family grounds me and fills me with pride and LOVE. My wife and kids constantly inspire me. I am motivated by trying to live a GREAT BIG LIFE. Achieving difficult things drives me, as does innovation of every kind. And I get immense joy and inspiration from helping and giving to others—it is the very best of being human. And all of it—every emotion, every experience, every stretch of joy or pain—finds its way into the work.
I paint big because life is big. My art is how I process all of it. It’s how I communicate the things we often can’t say—the longing, the vulnerability, the triumph, the freedom. Each piece is a mirror, a memory, a moment frozen in color and texture—inviting you to stop, feel, and remember what it means to be fully alive.
