Art can change the world —and it can change you.

Giving Back

I believe art can change the world—and that giving back is one of the most meaningful ways to live a Great Big Life. That’s why my business is a Public Benefit Corporation, created to serve humanity through creativity, compassion, and purpose.

My business is founded as a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), Public benefit corporations (PBCs) are a new way to operate a for-profit corporation, legally required to take into account the public good and as part of my charter, to think about the effects my business
decisions and purpose will have on society and humanity, to act responsibly, and in sustainable ways. The business must have a socially beneficial purpose
as a business, more than just profit.

Lifting up the world's poorest people.

I believe in creating more than just beautiful work. I believe in building a better world. My business exists not only to share art but to serve humanity—and that begins with the simple idea that we should be the change we wish to see in the world.

Helping others isn’t just a good thing to do—it’s one of the most powerful ways to live a great life. Giving back gives our lives meaning. It connects us to something larger than ourselves. It inspires purpose, builds
empathy, and transforms both the giver and the receiver.

Through my evolving partnership with Humanity We, (humanitywe.org) a growing charitable organization I founded, focused on global upliftment for the poorest people in the world, I hope my art can spark real impact. While the charity is still in its early stages, I’m committed to using my platform, my work, and my voice to help make the world a better place—and I invite you to join me. A percentage of each sale goes to supporting HumanityWe.

There Are Many Personal Advantages to Giving.

Research Shows Considerable Benefit from Giving.

Neuroscientific Studies: Neuroscientific research using brain imaging techniques has shown that altruistic behaviors activate reward centers in the brain. When individuals engage in acts of giving, they experience a "helper's high," characterized by FEELINGS OF JOY AND FULFILLMENT.

Longitudinal Studies:
Longitudinal studies, which track individuals over time, have found that people who regularly engage in prosocial behaviors of giving, tend to report HIGHER LEVELS OF LIFE SATISFACTION AND WELL-BEING compared to those who don't.

Happiness Studies.

Experimental studies have demonstrated that even small acts of kindness can lead to immediate increases in happiness. For instance, researchers have conducted experiments where participants were asked to perform acts of kindness for others and reported FEELING HAPPIER afterward.

Studies conducted across different global cultures, have consistently found a positive association between giving and happiness. This suggests that the relationship between altruism and well-being is not confined to specific cultural contexts but is A UNIVERSAL HUMAN EXPERIENCE.

Health Benefits.

Beyond psychological well-being, giving has been linked to PHYSICAL HEALTH BENEFITS such as lower blood pressure, reduced stress levels, and even increased longevity. These effects may be mediated by the positive emotions associated with altruistic behavior.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU considerably more benefit than you give.

Giving often makes us feel good for several reasons, both psychological and biological.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU much better KARMA, that will positively manifest for you in many ways.

Karma is often understood as the law of cause and effect, where one's actions, intentions, and deeds influence their future experiences and circumstances. Giving typically arises from positive intentions such as compassion, empathy, and altruism. When you give with a genuine desire to help others without expecting anything in return, it reflects positively on your intentions and character. According to the principles of karma, positive actions are believed to generate positive energy or "good karma."

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU with a Positive Activation of Your Brain's Reward Centers.

When we engage in acts of giving, our brain's reward centers, such as the mesolimbic pathway, are activated. This leads to the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine and endorphins, which are associated with feelings of pleasure and happiness.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU A Sense of Purpose and Meaning.

Giving to others can provide us with a sense of purpose and meaning in our lives. It allows us to connect with something larger than ourselves and to make a positive impact on the world around us, which can contribute to a greater sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU Social Connections

Giving often strengthens our social connections and relationships with others. When we give to someone else, it fosters feelings of closeness and connection, both for the giver and the recipient. This sense of social connection is important for our overall well-being and can contribute to positive emotions.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU Altruistic Satisfaction.

Many people experience personal satisfaction from knowing that they have helped someone else without expecting anything in return. This altruistic satisfaction comes from a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others and can lead to feelings of joy and contentment. (See karma above.)

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU a Reduction of Stress and Negative Emotions.

Engaging in acts of giving has been shown to reduce stress and negative emotions such as anxiety and depression. When we focus on helping others, it can shift our attention away from our own problems and worries, leading to a more positive outlook and improved mental health.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU Reinforcement within your Cultural and Social Norms.

In many cultures, giving is highly valued and regarded as a virtuous behavior. As a result, when we engage in acts of giving, we may also experience positive reinforcement from our social environment, further enhancing our feelings of goodness and satisfaction.

Giving to others will nurture and PROVIDE YOU empathy and compassion within you.

When we extend a helping hand to those facing adversity, we forge a connection with their struggles, challenges, and victories. This empathy opens our hearts, enabling us to perceive the world from diverse perspectives. We become more attuned to the needs of others, fostering a deeper sense of understanding and compassion in our interactions across various walks of life.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU a profound sense of gratitude within yourself.

As we witness the impact of our generosity, we develop a newfound appreciation for the blessings in our lives. Recognizing the privileges we possess, we grow more grateful for the abundance surrounding us. This gratitude serves as a potent antidote to feelings of entitlement or discontent, nurturing a greater sense of contentment and fulfillment in our lives.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

When we contribute to causes larger than ourselves, whether through volunteering, donations, or acts of kindness, we tap into a deeper meaning and significance. We realize that our actions possess the power to effect positive change, irrespective of their scale. This sense of purpose ignites our motivation and encourages us to live with intention, guided by values of kindness, compassion, and generosity.

Giving to others will CULTIVATE resilience and fortitude within you.

When we confront challenges or setbacks, extending help to others becomes a source of strength and resilience. It serves as a reminder of our ability to overcome adversity and bounce back from tough circumstances. Furthermore, the connections we forge through acts of generosity create a supportive network that sustains us during difficult times, reinforcing the notion that we are never alone in our struggles.

Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU personal growth and self-discovery.

Through serving others, we confront our limitations, biases, and prejudices, prompting us to broaden our perspectives and evolve as individuals. We uncover hidden talents, strengths, and passions that may have remained dormant within us. Additionally, the act of giving back exposes us to new experiences, cultures, and ideas, expanding our horizons and enriching our lives in unforeseen ways.

Lastly, Giving to others will PROVIDE YOU a sense of interconnectedness and community.

When we unite to support a common cause, we transcend barriers of race, religion, and nationality, coming together as a global community bound by our shared humanity. These connections enrich our lives, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity that transcends individual differences. Furthermore, the relationships we cultivate through acts of generosity provide us with a sense of purpose and belonging, enriching our lives in profound and meaningful ways.

In conclusion,.... giving back is not merely an act of charity but a transformative journey that shapes our us, our identities and our relationships.... with the world around us. Through acts of generosity, we cultivate empathy, gratitude, purpose, resilience, personal growth, and community. We discover that in giving, we receive far more than we could ever give. Let us embrace the power of giving back and allow it to enrich our lives beyond measure.
